A brief Technical Note:
If the pictures in our WebSite appear muddy or do not display well, it may be related to AOL. Netscape generally does not pose a similar problem.

AOL creates compressed graphics for the sake of rapid loading - socalled "ART" files. But it has the disadvantage that the quality of graphics can deteriorate. This feature can be turned off.

To do this, go into "My AOL" then "Preferences", then "WWW". Under "General" - delete temporary files, and then click the TAB labeled WebGraphics. Be sure that "Use Compressed Graphics" is unchecked. Re-Start AOL and return to viewing your pages.
